SMS Terms & Consent
Last updated: May 20, 2026
How Opt-In Is Collected
Field Reply collects opt-in consent in two ways:
User-initiated messaging: When an end user sends their first text message to the Field Reply phone number, they immediately receive an automated opt-in confirmation reply containing: the program name (Field Reply), a description of the service, message frequency disclosure, opt-out instructions (reply STOP), help instructions (reply HELP), a notice that message and data rates may apply, and a link to this SMS terms page. This auto-reply serves as the primary opt-in confirmation. Users are also informed of messaging terms via our website (fieldreply.ai) and the consent disclosure on our homepage.
Dealer authorization: Equipment dealers subscribe to Field Reply and add their customers' phone numbers as Authorized Users. Dealers are required under our Terms of Service (Section 10) to inform their Authorized Users that the service provides AI-generated text message responses. When an Authorized User sends their first message, they receive the same automated opt-in confirmation reply described above.
What Information We Collect
